PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO AND
CONTENT CREATION
Authentic content. Real people. Effective communication.
High-quality images and videos are essential components of modern corporate communications. We focus on authentic content rather than generic stock images: real people, real working environments, real products and genuine insights into what makes a company tick.
Video is shaping modern corporate communications
Video, in particular, has become vastly more important in recent years.
In the past, video in corporate communications often took the form of the traditional corporate image film. Today, we come across it every day: as an image teaser on the website, an employee interview on the careers page, a YouTube Short, an Instagram Reel or a TikTok video.
Video has evolved from a specialised, one-off project into an everyday means of communication.
The people behind the brand
Compelling product videos and promotional teasers attract attention and showcase companies and their services to great effect. Yet social media, in particular, has made corporate communication more personal. It is no longer just about what a company does, but also about the people behind it and why they do what they do.
That is why we do not simply see content creation as the production of beautiful images and videos. We develop content that shows something, tells a story and, at its best, also inspires a reaction – because it is closely connected to real people and real stories.
The right content for the right channel
Not every channel has the same requirements when it comes to photos and videos. For websites and core brand presence, we generally recommend professional production. On social media, however, content can be more spontaneous.Particularly when it comes to ongoing, organic social media content, authentic smartphone footage often works better than a perfectly lit production.
Professionally produced when it matters most
For websites, career communications and larger campaigns, we work with professional photography and film teams. Depending on the project, we produce promotional films, staff portraits, interviews, product videos, career profiles or insights into production and the workplace.
We never treat photography and video in isolation. Right from the planning stage, we consider which content can later be used for websites, campaigns and social media.
In this way, a single shoot becomes a versatile pool of content for various channels.
Particularly when it comes to website relaunches, careers websites and larger campaigns, it is worth producing content in batches. This results in, for example:
- Staff profiles and corporate photography
- Image teasers for websites and campaigns
- Interviews with staff and experts
- Short job profiles and mini-features
- Insights into production, work areas and the company
- Drone footage
- Photo and video material for recruitment and branding campaigns
For Braunform GmbH – a world-leading company in mould making and plastics technology – we produced staff portraits against a green screen as part of a recruitment campaign, for example, and subsequently edited them to match the campaign’s visual style. At the same time, we conducted interviews with staff members that provide genuine insights into various areas of the company. The videos were published on YouTube and integrated directly into the careers website.
The focus here is not on the wide reach or virality of the content. We are interested in real people, interesting perspectives and authentic insights, professionally produced and tailored to the respective brand.
Up close with your smartphone
When it comes to social media, however, not every piece of content needs to be produced at great expense. Reels, short interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, ‘making-of’ videos or spontaneous glimpses into our day-to-day work are usually created directly on our smartphones.
This not only reduces the production effort, but also creates precisely the sense of closeness and authenticity that defines social media.
The best of both worlds
Rather than just producing a film for a single channel, we now take a more versatile approach to content: from high-quality promotional teasers and staff interviews for the website to short clips for social media.
A production becomes particularly valuable when the resulting content is not intended for just one purpose.
As an interdisciplinary team, we therefore consider, right from the concept and production stages, where and how images and videos can be used later on.
For example, a professional photoshoot can yield high-quality staff portraits, interviews or a promotional teaser for a new careers website. The photos can be used simultaneously for social media ads or print adverts, whilst shorter clips can be edited from the video footage for LinkedIn, Instagram or YouTube. At the same time, we record short vertical videos, statements or behind-the-scenes footage for social media.
In this way, we combine professional production with authentic social content and make the most of a single day’s production for the website, campaign and social media.
A great example of this is the Gesundheitsschulen Südwest. As part of the campaigns to recruit pupils, we produced photos and videos offering genuine insights into the schools, lessons and training programmes. The material was used for the website, social media, digital adverts and outdoor advertising. In addition, we produced and published smartphone content for ongoing organic communication.
From the initial idea to the photo shoot
For us, a successful production begins before the actual shoot. We develop visual concepts and motifs, define the desired visual language and create mood boards to serve as visual guidelines for the photographers and film crew. In doing so, we already take into account the various formats and channels for which the content will later be required.
Our project management and art direction teams oversee the production on site and ensure that the visual language, motifs and campaign concept are consistently implemented.
Further insights into our productions
From education and recruitment, through industry and healthcare, to wellness and leisure: over the past few years, we have carried out photo and video productions for a wide variety of companies, sectors and projects.
We help businesses develop a strategic approach to social media, produce compelling content and manage their social media presence more efficiently using AI.

Frequently Asked Questions: Photography and Video
Yes. If a standalone promotional film or teaser is the right solution, we’ll produce it in collaboration with our film team. It doesn’t always have to be a large-scale, high-gloss production. Often, concise films with striking visuals, genuine insights and a clear concept are more effective – and make more financial sense.
Yes. If a standalone promotional film or teaser is the right solution, we’ll produce it in collaboration with our film team. It doesn’t always have to be a large-scale, high-gloss production. Often, concise films featuring striking visuals, genuine insights and a clear concept are more effective – and make more financial sense.
That depends mainly on the purpose. For a website’s key content, promotional teasers, high-quality interviews or major campaigns, we generally recommend a professional production. For Reels, behind-the-scenes content and regular updates on social media, a smartphone is often exactly the right tool.
Yes – and that is exactly what we usually recommend. For example, staff profiles, interviews, a promotional teaser and additional portrait-format videos for social media can all be produced as part of a single project.
This is exactly what we focus on right from the planning stage. We plan image cropping, formats, video lengths and subject matter so that the material can be used for websites, social media, digital campaigns or even print as far as possible.
Yes. We develop the conceptual and visual brief, plan the required visuals and formats in collaboration with you, and, depending on the project, coordinate photographers, film crews and other stakeholders. Thanks to our interdisciplinary team, screen design, the campaign and subsequent use on social media can be factored in right from the start.
No. When it comes to employee interviews and recruitment content in particular, it’s not about flawless presentation, but about providing authentic insights. We prepare the content and ensure that the situation remains as natural as possible during the shoot.
There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this. The costs depend, amongst other things, on the concept, the number of production days, the filming locations and the team required. For many of our productions, a single day of filming is sufficient.
It becomes more complex if multiple locations, actors or special shots are planned. For a film for Bystronic’s Flying Theatre systems, for example, we were on set for three days and filmed at locations including the famous dam in the Verzasca Valley. Additional actors were booked for this project.
We plan each production to suit the actual requirements – whilst ensuring that we produce as much usable content as possible within the available budget.
AI opens up enormous possibilities in content production – and we make use of them where it makes sense. When it comes to depicting people, however, we draw a clear line: we do not use AI-generated people in our corporate communications.
Particularly in recruitment, on careers websites and on social media, people want to know who is actually behind a company and what it’s really like there. That’s why we prefer to work with real employees and authentic situations. Where this isn’t possible, selected stock images can be an alternative.
Potential issues regarding image rights, personality rights and the origin of AI-generated content also argue in favour of a considered approach to artificially generated visual material. Our stance is therefore: AI is welcome as a tool – but real people remain real people.
