In 2012, we were commissioned by Siko GmbH, a global distributor of measurement technology for industrial applications, to begin developing a highly complex PIM system tailored precisely to their specific requirements. Today, PIM is regarded as the leading product data management system. After all, not only marketing and sales, but also product management and engineering have direct access to it. The website we developed, featuring over 300,000 automatically generated product pages in seven languages, was built in accordance with our client’s design specifications and is not yet available in a responsive web design format. Nevertheless, it remains the most important sales channel for securing business from existing customers and acquiring new ones.
